Professional Summary

I work at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in education and outreach working to bring science to the general public through the NCAR Explorer Series. I work on efforts to increase bilingual science communication and to increase participation of underrepresented groups in the Earth and Space Sciences fields. I also work with the Significant Opportunities in Atmospheric Research and Sciences (SOARS) program supporting undergraduate and graduate students, leading the science communication workshop during the summer, and supporting students year-round. My background is in Geology where I studied earthquakes, specifically fault mechanics to understand the stresses that generate fault slip.
