I am interested in using numerical modeling and remote sensing to study thermal processes on airless bodies and their effect on the stability of planetary ices. I have conducted research as an intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory where I have worked on projects for the Lunar Flashlight mission and the LRO Diviner Lunar Radiometer Experiment. At JPL, I developed a two-dimensional thermal model for craters on the Moon. For my senior project at Cal Poly Pomona, I studied the structure of the San Bernardino basin by analyzing the H/V spectra at different sites throughout the basin. I aspire to become a research scientist in the planetary sciences.
