Joel Johnson

My undergraduate degree was earned at Boise State University, in Geology and Applied Mathematics, where I owe much of my success to the McNair Scholars, LSAMP, and TRIO programs. I was born and lived 11 years in Cuernavaca, Morelos, MX before moving to the US. My current research interests include remote sensing of subsidence using Satellite Radar and determining what role it has played in recent flooding events, particularly relating to coastal megacities. When I am not conducting research, I enjoy reading and collecting hobbies.
