I’m a metamorphic petrologist and geochemist interested in metamorphic phase equilibria and chemical kinetics as they relate to crustal evolution, convergent tectonics, and subduction zone dynamics. I’m particularly interested in the role reaction overstepping plays during garnet nucleation and growth, and how that affects the pressure-temperature conditions of fluid generation and related seismicity in the subducting slab.

I’m a first-generation college student born and raised in the Bronx. I’m always down to chat about the first generation experience, guitars, backpacking and tectonics!
